Spot the Whales and Dolphins

The sea surrounding Caleta De Fusta is a well-known hot spot for these fantastic mammals, and as a result of this there are several boat trips leaving daily which will take you off to find dolphins and whales. There is occasionally a chance to swim with dolphins which is worth taking if you can.

Practise your Putting

If you are a keen golfer then this is most certainly the resort for you. There is one main course, Caleta De Fuste Golf and a few other smaller ones. Caleta De Fuste Golf is a huge resort set in a stunning location; it has a large course, a swimming pool, a gym and a variety of bars and restaurants.

Put on your Dancing Shoes

The nightlife in Caleta De Fuste is fantastic, and whether you are looking for a family friendly environment or a rowdy bar to spend your evening in, you will find it here. The hotels often put on entertainment which is suitable for families and the bars in town have live music on until the early hours of the morning.

Discover the Island’s Gems

Fuerteventura has so much more to offer than its beautiful beaches. The centre of the island is well worth exploring as it has traditional, picturesque villages which are great places to head for if you want to escape the other tourists and relax with the locals.

Getting Around

Fuerteventura is easy to navigate with a range of transport readily available. The public buses are a cheap way for visitors to explore the island, most holiday makers tend to use taxis and hire cars as it offers that extra flexibility during your stay. The islands are full of cycling and hiking trails for the more adventurous and there are daily boat services hopping between each island.

By Bus

There are comfortable, air conditioned buses which leave from most of the main resorts regularly and stop at the island’s most famous attractions. The smaller, local buses are slightly less reliable.

By Car

Hiring a car is cheap, easy and highly recommended. The island’s main roads are easy to navigate and well looked after; the smaller roads can be somewhat of a challenge. Driving is on the left.
