Victoria Palace Hotel & Spa is a large property that offers half-board and all-inclusive boarding options. Mostly a destination for water sports lovers, the main USP of the hotel lies in the proximity it offers to the beach and recreational areas.
Guestrooms in Victoria Palace Hotel & Spa are divided into 420 double room, 65 double rooms (without balcony), 36 Studios, 16 Single Rooms, and 6 Deluxe Studios. Spacious and modern, these rooms are designed to cater to modern travellers. Facilities you will find in each room are private bathroom with amenities, mini bar, TV with satellite, telephone, WiFi internet, safe deposit box, hairdryer—note that you might have to locally pay to use some of the facilities in the room. Studios come with extra facilities, such as CD player, sofa/couch, wooden furniture and more. You can select between twin beds or double bed, and request for extra bed or crib. Housekeeping and fresh linens and towels are available every day, and balconies are built overlooking the beautiful promenade and the pool areas, depending on location.
Food, Drink and Entertainment
The hotel houses six restaurants and bars. Hollywood is the main restaurant that serves breakfast (7:30am to 10am), lunch (12:30pm to 2:30pm) and dinner (6pm to 9pm) in buffet style and caters to all-inclusive guests. Breakfast is continental in style, and at dinner the restaurant offers live cooking station and hosts theme nights. Victoria is another restaurant mostly for half-board guests—it serves buffet breakfast (7:30am to 10am) and dinner (6pm to 9pm) with drinks to compliment the flavours. Adding to these, La Gondola is the a la carte restaurant that opens between 6pm and 10pm and serves Mediterranean cuisine. And speaking about drinks, there is a lobby bar (8am to 12am) that serves hot and cold and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; an Irish Bar (6pm to 12am) that offers and extensive alcohol menu. In addition, the Palma Bar opens from 10am to 6pm and caters to guests at the pool side and serves an array of drinks and light meals.
Sports, Games and Entertainment
The hotel features several outdoor pools for both adults and kids. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas—approach the front desk for lilos and beach towels. You can play water polo, water volleyball, water gymnasium and tons of other aqua games in the pools. If you're a fitness conscious traveller, there is a gym furnished with an indoor pool—10am to 8pm. And for some relaxation, head to the deluxe wellness centre that opens between 9am and 8pm. It houses various massage rooms, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, hairdresser, and even down to pedicure and manicure. But if you want something thrilling, the beach is right in front of the hotel where you can try various motorised and non-motorised water sports activities.
Victoria Palace Hotel & Spa is a three-star property mostly visited by couples, group travellers and families. Built facing the Black Sea, the views from the hotel is quite remarkable. The beach is hardly 10 metres from the complex, right across the outdoor pools. And located in Sunny Beach of Burgas Province, you will find tons of shops of all kinds and restaurants of all cuisines on both sides of the promenade. Though most of the surroundings are farmlands, you can consider trekking and hiking to the lovely mountains on the sides to have an aerial view of the sea and the beautiful town. The harbour is a little over 8 km from the complex, located in Nessebar, very close to the famous Church of Saint Sophia. And in case you want to rent a bike and explore the neighbourhood, seaside towns such as Aureliya, Ravda, Sveti Vlas and Villa Romana are quite interesting—distance to Burgas Airport is roughly 30 km.
