Dating from the 18th Century, and once a nobleman''''s country manor house, our boutique hotel Mallorca was restored by Mallorcan architect Tomeu Ramon over a period of 3 years, with the aim of preserving this beautiful building''''s stunning original features and architecture, whilst integrating luxurious, modern hotel accommodation and a spa. The building and each of the 14 rooms and suites uses local materials wherever possible - hand-worked limestone from Binnissalem, sandstone from Porreras and Santanyì, hand-made stone tiles recovered from an old pottery in Felanitx. The same attention to detail shows in the decoration - curtains and bedcovers come from an old textile works in Lloseta, antique-style furniture from Sineu, brass lanterns typical of Mallorca made by an artesan in Porreras, glass objects from a glassblowers in Campanet and items of pottery made by an artesan based in Lloseta. This boutique hotel Mallorca, opened in the year 2000, is still owned and run by the Ramon Bunyola family, with son Bernat always on hand with a warm welcome and helpful advice, ably assisted by his sister Catalina.
